Hand tap
These taps (metric standard thread) have a tolerance of 6H.
These are available as sets of:
M3 - M12: 3-part with pre-cutter, middle cutter and finish cutter.
M14 - M24: 2-part with 2x finish cutters, one with a long and one with a short cut.
The thread cutters have a tip at the front up to size M6, but this is no longer necessary from M8 onwards.
All hand taps have a square shank and can therefore be clamped in a tap wrench or tool holder.
